Funkita + Funky Trunks

School is out for most of the kids, and that means it’s officially beach and pool season. That also means that it’s time to get your kids a new swimsuit for the summer, preferably one that is both stylish and durable.

I first heard about Funkita from my daughter and her friends back in 2013. Her swim friends who were on an athletic scholarship in Phuket were wearing it, and when they went back to Manila on their Christmas break, she asked them buy her some.

For my oldest daughter, getting a new swimsuit is like getting new clothes kase
she's almost always wearing one. This is one of her first Funkita suits.
She just fell in love with the flamingo pattern when she saw it.

I'm so happy to find out that Funkita and Funky Trunks is now distributed locally by Funkita Funky Trunks Philippines: Neptune Actives. Now, no need to ask her friends studying abroad to buy for her anymore.

Funkita & Funky Trunks and are well-known for vibrant colors and unique patterns. In other words, you won’t find any subdued shades and boring designs here.

Why my kids and I love Funkita and Funky Trunks:

1. Stylish patterns and colorful designs. For my kids, Funkita and Funky Trunks offers the right combination of colors and prints that make them much more enthusiastic to train. That's what they really said. I guess because training for 6 times a week for 2 hours each session can be repetitive. So having a fun suit takes a bit of the boring out.

2. Quality. I love it because the material of their training suits are made from chlorine-resistant fabric and it retains its elasticity for a longer time. They are designed for continual use in chlorinated water, so it means I don't have to keep on buying them new ones as often.

Funky Trunks and Funkita Swimsuits are made from exclusive C-Infinity fabric, a 100% Italian polyester that is a colorful breakthrough in chlorine resistant fabric technology. The superior choice for swimmers, C-Infinity has exceptional strength and can retain its durability far beyond other elastane swimwear fabrics. Ideal for frequent pool use for recreational and performance based swimming.

3. Comfort. The most important thing to check when buying new swimsuits is, of course, how comfortable my kids are when they are wearing it. My daughter has already experienced wearing a suit that doesn't fit well, tumatama sa shoulders whenever she rotates it. the repetitive contact chafed her shoulders. Masakit ha. It created an open wound. She never wore that swimsuit again.

My daughter's Funkita swimsuits feature ultra thin shoulder and back straps for comfort while training. The thin strap style training swimsuit is a good choice for her because she spends a lot of hours in the swimming pool. The style gives her plenty of room for when she uses her arms and shoulder , and also it minimizes her tan lines.

On the other hand my son's Funky Trunks has a comfortable leg opening and a drawcord for the right fit on the waist.

I've looked through their online catalog and found some really cute designs. Pwede pang mother and daughter or father and son, pwede din matchy-matchy siblings. So cute!

They also carry colorful swimming accessories to match the suits.

So cute, noh?
