Singapore National Age Group 2019
The reason for Singapore as our choice of destination this summer fully relied on the fact that R has a swimming competition there. He swam at the OCBC Aquatic Centre, Singapore Sports Hub for the 50th Singapore National Age Group competition.

Instagrammable Spots in Singapore For Your Teens (to be the best mom ever in their eyes)
In this day and age, if you traveled somewhere and didn’t share a photo of
it on Instagram, were you even really there?
With that in mind, I’m
doing a round-up of the top Instagrammableattractions in Singapore. If you are a mom to teens, then you better be in the know so you can take them to these spots, and of course, you will be the best mom ever in their eyes. Hahaha!
CHIJMES
CHIJMES is our first stop since it was just walking distance away from our hotel. Chijmes is an acronym for the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus. the entertainment complex has a neo-classical style building which houses one of Singapore’s most aesthetically-pleasing dining and entertainment venues with al fresco seating.

Singapore: Beginner's Guide to Hawker Food Centers
Our hawker center food crawl did not start until C got to Singapore. I'm the type who can eat anywhere; I’m not really the type to make the trek out just to eat at a certain resto, but C is.
Inspite of this being our third time in Singapore, this is our first time to venture into the hawker food stalls. The kids were much younger during our previous visit, and I did not feel all that brave letting them eat there. I did not want even a slight chance of any of them developing traveler’s diarrhea. But now that they are all teens, we decided that this is a good time to try.

Singapore: Where To Stay + How To Go Around + Staying Connected
I took the kids to Singapore end of March for an early summer treat. The reason for Singapore as our choice of destination fully relied on the fact that R has a swimming competition there. But we also took this chance to do the rounds of the hawker centers, which we were not able to do during our previous trips. Yes, we were scared then to take the kids to the hawker centers. I did not want to deal with travelers diarrhea because of their ages. Meeep! But now that they are older, it's all systems go! I'll share with you in a later post how I made sure to keep our tummies in fighting form.
