Sennichimae Doguyasuji is a street in Osaka which is dedicated to selling all kinds of kitchen utensils, tools and equipment. If you are passionate about cooking, then this is not to be missed when you go to Osaka. When my sister pointed this street out to me, obviously I CANNOT leave Japan without visiting it. It's just a few minutes walk from Fraser Residences in Namba, and is on the way to Kuromon Ichiba.
Because it is a very specific market in that it only caters to everything about the kitchen, it's not that crowded and you can walk around freely and leisurely. There are several stores that sell beautiful Japanese ceramic plates at a cost that is so sinfully cheap. I bought as much plates as I could hand-carry, which wasn't really much. I begged C to commit to hand-carry a bag of these lovely and delicate plates on the flight home, but he wouldn't indulge me. Humph!
I'll just share with you some of the photos I took of Doguyasuji.

I've always told C that Kyoto appeals to me so much more because of the abundance of its ancient scenic sights, but if there's anything that would want to make me go back to Osaka, it would be Doguyasuji.
I've updated this post to provide a link to ALL MY JAPAN POSTS!
